fly

It is not my everyday thing to shoot these little bugs, but I have a macro

lens in my bag so I try to use it sometimes. Let's see what you guys

say about this. I like those wings..but I think I should have had a little bit

more depth of field; the fly's rear is lacking sharpness.

I don't think the DOF is really an issue here. By the way I'd rather be concerned about the colors - they should be a bit closer to natural, at least to my taste. Even if it was part of your concept. Otherwise it is a pretty good macro.

In my opinion the depth of field is OK for such a shot.

The dof is right for this shot. The lght is excellent. I like the way the background fades emphasising the hover fly and daisy. It has an intimate look about it. Lovely shot.

Great nature shot Timo, very good use of differential focusing. The fly is in sharp focus. Well done.
