Very nice silhouette amongst the beautiful surroundings, I like the patterns of the grass along the shore and the leaves against the sky, good use of framing...nicely done Cherlyn. Welcome back....:)

You have quite many good pictures in your gallery. Why did you select this one for critique today?

 

It is underexposed in shadows, quite dull, and doesn't say much... I really can't find anything that would be worth showing here. But maybe I'm missing some hidden message?

When I go to exhibitions and other events, I like taking pictures of photographers taking photographs. This one is great with the silhouettes in the foreground and the reflections in the background. Very good shot, Cherlyn. Best regards!

Thanks Adam for your opinion. The main reason I load this photo is to bring up the sceney in the next photo through our lens from this position. Personally I like how the shadow of the leaves frame the sihoulette photographer. I do not always only put up the best photos for critique. Sometimes it is good to have different opinions , good or bad. One learn from critique exchange & thus improve on one's picture.

I agree with David, this is a good pic, amiga, very nice composition, love the contrast and colors.

Without the person you have captured in the frame, this shot would have not had as much impact....also the dark silhouetted foreground adds to the impact of the lighter view through the trees...Regards
