I guess your concept was to create a bit depressing mood which you so-so managed. I like this shot this way, too, but I'd add some exaggerated local contrast, or at least lighten the highlights to bring it to life. BTW the composition is alright and the distortion works well too.

Very very well done, and i like the above version too, original indeed! You are lucky that you have such an honest critique and suggestion ! really this is the best thing about PN! Regards
