Door Handle In Detail

This is from the door of an abandoned church near to where I stayed.

The building was closed off which put to rest any hope of taking photos

Great shot, absolutely clear, good tones. I think these are shots which the ad agencies would like to buy. The pattern of the wood and the combination of a modern lock with an ancient door handle gives character to this shot.

I really like this one - the vertical composition is interesting, and the combination of modern and old posits a dramatic effect. The tone is perfectly suited to the theme. The graduated brightness from left to right is another plus point of this image. Best wishes.

I'm a sucker for this type of image. There is wonderful texture in the wood and some interesting detail in the handle. The intrusion of the modern deadbolt above the far older handle creates an interesting juxtaposition. Very nice vision in this one.
