davidorea 1 Posted June 1, 2009 Perfect caption for this excellent composition, Bulent. The scene, forms, textures and perspective are great. Original work! Congrats! Link to comment
celasun 0 Posted June 3, 2009 Thank you all for commenting on this photo.I did try monochrome and duotone versions of some of the photos in this series (a total of 5, in fact). Unfortunately, none pleased me. The most troublesome aspect was perhaps the original "grain" on the stones covering the building. B&W conversion tended to exaggarete that too much... Link to comment

tonmestrom 4 Posted June 13, 2009 good thing you included so much from the actual environment because it makes for a very effective and telling composition. All the lines do a great job in putting the attention there where it should be. Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 13, 2009 I really like the extraordinary and surprising balance of this picture, like someone successfully juggling a bowling ball, a ping pong ball and a fishbowl full of goldfish. Nicely done. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 15, 2009 Interesting scale of construction, elements and people in this composition. As the building is having bright colors, the colorful group of people became the center of attension. well composed Bulent. Link to comment

human images 4 Posted September 18, 2009 everyone said what needs to be said. This is a good meeting. . . I mean photograph! I'm almost sure you may have considered a vertical crop, or maybe horizontal - Its a most flexible image and since the picture.works so well any of the choices would have worked. There is quite a bit to see here and my only nit is how you chose to upload, the scale of the image incompatible with the postal stamp size. Link to comment
celasun 0 Posted September 20, 2009 Many thanks to you all for your rewarding comments; much appreciated.I am really sorry to respond this late to your comments, I have no idea how this happened!Lorenza,My attempts at converting this one to B&W did not produce a pleasing result. The native grain of the stones was the biggest problem and they somehow have stolen attention from the group.A selective blurring or noise reducton in that part did not work either...Carlos,As always, you are right! I did consider a vertical format especially but ended up with this one. Regarding the size, I will try uploading a larger version. I do not remember why I had uploaded this photo in a smaller than usual size! Link to comment
