paulpluskwik 0 Posted May 31, 2009 Christopher, Wonderful photo, Great capture, I enjoy waterfowl photos and know how hard they are to get while in action ( that is why I do not have many). Great job. Take care. Link to comment

marty_schoo 0 Posted June 1, 2009 I love the colours, I love the sharpness, and I appeciate and know how difficult it is to capture. My only gripe would be composition. I"m not sure if you have cropped or not but if possible I would put the duck further to the left leading our eye to the right in the direction of travel. And perhaps crop a fraction off the bottom. Great capture though. Link to comment
Alex 0 Posted June 1, 2009 You've done it again. Perfect image what I like the most is how young the subject it. You don't see that often. Regards Alex Link to comment
rarmstrong 0 Posted June 1, 2009 Another tremendous shot, Chris! Great colors and clarity. I like the blurred reflection of the bird. Best regards, Dick Link to comment
ChristopherSchlaf 0 Posted June 1, 2009 Marty I truly appreciate your critique.I will have to take a look at the original image. As I recall I was thinking the same thing about more space in front but also thought the splashes were interesting. And a big thanks to everyone else for your time (comments) and yes this was not an easy shot to get when these guys take off they are extremely fast. yannik_hay 1 Posted June 7, 2009 Another beautiful take off, even the hair on his head is in the wind due to the speed :) I love the surrounding colours, green and blue and the water splash! I like it as is, like you, I think that the trail is necessary to the composition. Cheers! Link to comment
