steveshinn 0 Posted February 21, 2010 The Rhinos are good enough but the wonderful capture of the bg; the colors of the grasses etc. makes the image for me. Nice work. Link to comment

jhl 0 Posted April 27, 2010 Mmmm, Africa our lovely country !You captured our Rhinos very well and from the previous comment it was said they also appreciated part of the nature which is visible which I agree. Now, I miss the Kruger.Time to go and visit again, which we try and do at least once every 5-6 weeks for about 5 days at a time.Enjoy, Australia and hope to see some more captures of your new country soon.Congratulations on this lovely capture once againWarmest Regards to you and your family...From East Rand/Gauteng/South Africa Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted July 25, 2010 They certainly are mighty animals Graham. Wouldn't want to get too close to one of those horns. Great capture, surroundings,....I'm only puzzled about one thing.....Above the main treeline, that's not Snow I see is it??? There is a lot I do not know about Africa....I might just learn something new...I just thought it would be much too hot???? cheers, Gail Link to comment
lintrathen 14 Posted August 19, 2010 Hi Johanna and Gail....... thanks for your visit and comments.Gail - No, it is not snow but a "distance haze"..... if I recall correctly, this image was taken early morning and the far background is the base of a hill with the early sun yet to hit it. South Africa does get snow, but only on the high mountain ranges - far away from where this was taken.Regards Link to comment
