Guest Guest Posted June 1, 2009 That SETTLES IT! I'm getting a new camera with a MUCH better macro lens(s)!!! I can get right on top my subject (literally touching it) and it never comes out so sharp and clean. You've finally 'talked me into it' Gail. This is a wonderful photo with great detail. And the purple frame looks just fine, not over done at all. I think it's because of the color gradation between the photo and outer frame which breaks it up just enough. Like all your photos Gail, this is high quality. God Bless ;o) Link to comment
roger_honeski 0 Posted June 1, 2009 The lighting is perfect on this image. It does lack detail. Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted June 2, 2009 I hope you find what you are looking for Joanne....I liked my Fuji entry level's (5000 & 9000) but I just couldn't get a really sharp image....I took this one aiming to have the bee and flower forground with the most detail .....but there still is some softness within the stamen areas of the flower.....I think I could have lightened up the eye area of the bee a bit to bring more detail there, as the next gentleman suggest it is lacking detail....but I truly don't even fully know how to use my new Canon totally......it's a work in progess but an enjoyable one....thanks for your visit Joanne.....I'll have to vist your 'Port'.....so nice to hear from you....sincerely, Gail Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted June 2, 2009 I'll try to work on the 'detail' end of things....I was aiming for some 'softness' but perhaps more detail would work better...thanks for your critique....Gail Link to comment
