This is one of your wonderful flower macros with amazing DOF and nice details.

Well now hard decision very different, softer more of a delicate feel to this one LOVE it! Again the detail is wonderful. I am glad I don't have to chose between the to. I think the detail is more enhanced in this one. Either way beautiful my friend. I can see why you posted both! Take care, Leslie :)

I uploaded this image in 2009 and never submitted for critique or

rating. I was not as experienced at hand holding back then. It has

been one of my favorite Poppy images. The colours were so lovely

and I haven't seen one of this color since. (any visits and comments

are always appreciated, ;-) Gail - Macro)

I love this poppy. In a few hours this flower will be in full bloom but I can see already the beauty as it prepares to show itself into the wonderful world. Nice composition, Gail. Regards!

Thank you for your visit Rejith, I appreciate your input. Occasionally I don't mind this kind of border as you can still see the original image through it.

It's a nice image. I like your DOF and composition. And like you I sometimes pick an older image to process. A good thing about that is that my skills have grown and I have better software so I can do more with an image than I could have when I took the original picture. I imagine that's true for you too, considering how long you've been "photoshopping".

Actually Chuck I processed this May 30, 2009, I didn't change it all. It was one that I had  posted back then (see Karolos's critique). I had just forgotten to submit for Critique and Rating. Thanks so much for your visit!!!

Beautiful piece of work. Love the diagonal created by leaves - just strong enough.  Lovely light and colors.
