I do not have a grand daughter/son YET!

I am sure photographing this little miracle is nothing short of a love affair!

I wish her a sweet future :)

Thanks for your kind words. Grandpa is going to go poor taking photos of this little bundle of joy. Better stock up on ink & photo printing paper. :-) One day old & she already has me wrapped around those small (but long) fingers. Window light & perfect subject, how can one go wrong? Best, LM.

Hard to go wrong here, Len. They are so much easier to photograph at this age. They get much harder as they get older, I have found.

Thanks for your much appreciated visit. Yeh, may as well get the easy ones while I can. When I try , sometimes too obviously, to point my camera at my 3 yr. old grandson he simply does a 180 and turns his back to me. (considers me as paparazzi) Gotta be more discrete when they get older. Best, LM.

I'm happy to be able to share her with you. Wouldn't be proper to keep a jewel like this hidden from view. As long as I'm able I'll be sharing new photos of her. This close up is a bit deceptive; she's really very tiny. I used a P&S at the wide angle end of the zoom and filled the screen with her. Not normally good technique. Thanks for stopping by. Best, LM.

I came over here after reading a critique you made on Dr. Didi's 'A New Day' image. It was such a wonderful way of saying the photo wasn't to your taste.....very tactful and honest! As for this, congratulations! This is a lovely close crop, and something tells me we'll be seeing a lot more of this young lady in the future!

Many thanks for your visit & comments. Yah, my first granddaughter (our third grandchild) will definitely be the subject of many future photo shoots. Stay tuned. As for diplomacy, it's like walking in an area occupied by many Canada Geese, you gotta watch where you step. :-) On a robust venue such as PN not everything posted will be to one's personal taste but I think we have to respect the efforts of others and perhaps learn something in the process. Your own portfolio looks to be worthy of a few return visits as, if judging only by the thumbnails, there is much there of interest. Got you bookmarked for future visits. Best, LM.
