merhay 0 Posted June 2, 2009 That's some very attractive post processing, at lest to my taste. The composition seems a bit chaotic to me, partly as a side effect of wide angle vs. street photography. However the guy sitting in the foreground provides a fine anchor point to rest ones eyes. Anyway, a nice one. Best regards, LM. Link to comment
heider 0 Posted June 2, 2009 Dear Sue and Laszlo Thank you both for your honest and constructive comment and critique on my photo, this is highly appreciated. I agree with you both, the photo is busy and chaotic, partially because of the busy frame and the so many elements, but after a very careful look, I think i can also point out another thing, this image suffers from a very high local contrast and a very low general overall contrast, thats what makes it really dull and flat. It think i shoul have treated it differently. Another point is the monitor, i have three monitors at home, and I am amazed how the same photo looks very different, not only interims of colors, but tonal range and details. It is really a big problem for me! Thanks again for your honest comments, i think i will give it another try and hope you will like the new result! Best Regards Link to comment
Funtak 0 Posted June 3, 2009 I like strong vigneting that holds the image, there's no chaos, only two man, one walking, one sitting..I feel High-noon atmosphere. Link to comment
