Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted May 27, 2009 This is a view of Cincinnati, Ohio from the Roebling Suspension bridge completed in 1865 right after the Civil War was declared ended. Because Ohio was a free northern state, construction on the bridge that originally began in 1854 was curtailed, so the rebel Dixie soldiers would not be able to cross the Ohio River. I have posted the image for its historical value over photographic excellence, although I personally like the angle. Please comment. Link to comment
ryourth 0 Posted November 11, 2012 Hi Larry- Very nice B&W with a good tonal range. Of course most interesting is the tubes carrying the bridge cables & you picked a really good visual & different POV .The close ups give a good idea the hardware required to support the bridge members Not only a good visual image but an informative one. Well Done. Best Regards-Ross Link to comment
