This is a view of Cincinnati, Ohio from the Roebling Suspension bridge completed in

1865 right after the Civil War was declared ended. Because Ohio was a free northern

state, construction on the bridge that originally began in 1854 was curtailed, so the

rebel Dixie soldiers would not be able to cross the Ohio River. I have posted the

image for its historical value over photographic excellence, although I personally like

the angle. Please comment.

Hi Larry- Very nice B&W with a good tonal range. Of course most interesting is the tubes carrying the bridge cables & you picked a really good visual & different POV .The close ups give a good idea the hardware required to support the bridge members Not only a good visual image but an informative one.
