Massimiliano,

Beautiful girl and beautiful image. It reminds me of a glamour shot right out of the 1940's. Her skin tones on her face and upper body are very good. I love the specular highlights on her lips. The dramatic lighting works very well with this image (I really would like the shadow from her nose to connect with the shadow on her cheek - at the corner of her mouth). Her make-up is very well done. She has very good catch lights (you are getting a reflection off the white of her left eye, though) - She is nicely separated from the background.

You need to focus on her eyes. They are not as sharp as they should be. I like your lighting, but you are running shadows into her eyes (especially her right eye). I can't see her eyelashes as well as I should be able to see them. You need to be sure her eyes are well lit. Your placement of her face within the frame is very good, but there is way too much going on in the bottom half of the picture. I don't know what the red thing is in the bottom left of the picture, but it is annoying and must go.

There is much wrong with her right forearm and hand in this picture. It must be picking up some of the red from the fabric because it has a red tint that the rest of her does not have. You don't show where her right forearm connects to her right upper arm. Therefore, we can't be sure if it is her arm sticking out of the bottom of the photograph or someone else's. Her hand is closer to the camera than the rest of her. This has caused her hand to appear disproportionately large compared to the rest of her. The flat side of her hand (as compared to it's edge) is towards the camera. If you turn her hand so that an edge is more towards the camera her hand will appear thinner, more feminine, and more graceful.

It might be best just to get rid of her hand and whatever the red thing is - and crop some some of the bottom out of there.

If her eyes are not looking in the direction her head is pointing, you must provide a reason why. She could be looking at the camera (viewer) - she could be looking at something or someone else in the picture, - etc. You have her looking back into nothing for no apparent reason.

Your logo is not part of the photograph. It belongs on the mat.

Nice shot,

Mark
