harold_leff 0 Posted August 4, 2002 Reminds me of a blind date I once had :) Great shot except for the purplish shiny white spot above it's eye. Not sure if that is it's eye, but u know what I mean Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 18, 2002 The system tells me this requires a comment. Fair enough: what an artful picture. Link to comment
solja 0 Posted January 9, 2003 I love the eyes on insects like these, grasshoppers and praying mantises have similar eye designs and textures. I also like the iridescent-looking colors on the body. Very nice photo, though a bit more DOF would've made it even better! Link to comment
bianka_zalman 0 Posted January 18, 2003 Today i gave me the time to look in your complete folders and now i must say: I've never seen such beautiful macro photos of these little creatures like yours and i'm not able to say, which one is the best of them. They are all incredible fascinating and gives the possibility to open the eyes for a world of its own in our world. Thanks so much for sharing joy...and 8/8 for all! Best regards, Bianka Link to comment
karen rexrode 0 Posted January 27, 2003 I just continually admire your work. As someone said earlier, I hope you are offered the opportunity to sell some of these fabulous bug portraits. Link to comment
ben neptun 0 Posted February 13, 2003 My first impression: "Holy crap! That's a freaky bug! Is that eye for real?!?!" Now for the real stuff: Because this subject is foreign to me I'm not sure I like it or not (but I'm leaning towards a 10 o'clock thumbs up). I'd prefer some more depth of field here, but I know that's almost impossible working with macro. The exposure is great. Solid background. Good stuff! Link to comment
steven_coffey 0 Posted March 8, 2003 Eyes of the World? Look at that hair cut. Exquisite! May be remove the reflection from the upper part of it's eye? Link to comment
