Tiny little fellows. I like their eyes.

I love the eyes on insects like these, grasshoppers and praying mantises have similar eye designs and textures. I also like the iridescent-looking colors on the body. Very nice photo, though a bit more DOF would've made it even better!

Today i gave me the time to look in your complete folders and now i must say: I've never seen such beautiful macro photos of these little creatures like yours and i'm not able to say, which one is the best of them. They are all incredible fascinating and gives the possibility to open the eyes for a world of its own in our world. Thanks so much for sharing joy...and 8/8 for all! Best regards, Bianka

My first impression: "Holy crap! That's a freaky bug! Is that eye for real?!?!"

 

Now for the real stuff: Because this subject is foreign to me I'm not sure I like it or not (but I'm leaning towards a 10 o'clock thumbs up). I'd prefer some more depth of field here, but I know that's almost impossible working with macro. The exposure is great. Solid background. Good stuff!

How does the man keep it up?

Eyes of the World? Look at that hair cut. Exquisite! May be remove the reflection from

the upper part of it's eye?
