The original is in the recent folder also. I have done some post processing on this one based on the recommendations from my fellow friends from PN. I have done some software 'gardening' and removed the spent spike that was in the lower section of the image. Some might argue that no gardening should be done and to that, I would like to point out the bokeh created by a lens which is not the way the human eyes saw the scene. I did not want this to be an image that everyone else takes. I am always looking for comments and I will probably load this to the critique forum for ratings and comments.

I will be back later this evening since I will be going to practice my photo skills in the next few minutes.

Let me just tell you that in my opinion this is an impressive piece of art. Guess it looks even more spectacular in an oversized format - on my living wall...The technical discussion I leave to the specialists. Compliments Tony!

It is a beautiful and poetic approach to the endless, and ethereal, love story between the sun and the flowers. Colors... light... and composition are very attractive.

Best regards.

In my opinion this composition is very good and original. An image must leave a message, must impress the mind of the viewer, technology, gardening software, are simply tools that can develop as an artist in the brain. Bravo

Ciao

Tony, this is a beautiful and very original presentation of a common subject which has your creative hand all over it. To be able to stretch the limits and come up with something so pleasing is a testament to your artisitic vision and ability. This is a wonderful piece of work!

Best regards,

Dick

Thanks to everyone - I will be out with my camera in the next few minutes but will be back later tonight to visit your images. Now I am off to enjoy a walk (with my camera) on this pleasant, sunny but slightly cool afternoon (15 Degrees Celsius - about 59 F).

I may not have replied to each person who left their mark but I am grateful for the time you have taken to provide comments - not only on this but on the 'original' version. I also appreciate your very generous ratings. Last night I tried to visit everyone's images, commented and rated at least one of your images. I hope I did not miss anyone. All the very best and thanks again.

I'm coming to this a little late, Rather than repeat many of the positive comments made thus far I will simply say 'beautiful and original'.

Beautifull. Compared to the original the correction and the framing give a contribution to an already almost perfect shot.

Many compliments. Bye PaoloP
