trisha jean-angela 3 Posted July 6, 2009 This is my cat Chewey; he is the most intelligent, gentle and loving cat. I hope you enjoy this photo of him. Your comments are welcome. Thank you for looking. Link to comment
jill_rocker 0 Posted July 7, 2009 This is a very wonderful natrual cat portrait... It looks like he´s day dreaming... I think the light is very nice here and gives the shot a very warm and beautiful feeling.... Well seen and captured.... All my best, Jill Link to comment
David-Wisse 5 Posted July 8, 2009 Very serene portrait Trisha. I love natural window light. My only critique would be to lament the loss of some detail with the white fur - difficult to hold I know! Best, David Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 3 Posted July 8, 2009 Jill, Thank you so much for the compliments; I am always pleased when others like my photos, but none more so than when it is my kitties! Chewey is a deep thinker and he probably was daydreaming...thank you for picking up on that. :) Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 3 Posted July 8, 2009 David, Thank you for your kind words and comments. I have several versions of this, but finally decided on this one because of the mood...it was a hard choice. Did I want clear and sharp or soft and dreamy? I felt this one suited his personality and the moment more. Thank you again for the compliment and having a look. :) Link to comment

clayton_m 4 Posted August 23, 2009 Your cat makes a fine model and the natural light works great here. I tried cropping out some of the top portion of the image to remove most of the crystal. I think that works well too, because it puts more focus on the main subject. Anyway, just a thought. Well done though. Cheers, -Clayton Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 3 Posted August 25, 2009 Clayton, Thank you for your kind comment and your suggestion. I had thought of cropping too at one point, but then the very tip of Chewey's ear would be chopped off. Now that I have photoshop (elements) I'll have to give it a try! Thank you again for your encouraging words! :) Link to comment
