I think that this image can Speak For Itself...

As always I look forward to your feedback.

"The image speaks for itself." Hmm.

Our blessed Apollo, right? The Kouros, the beloved beardless youth, the god of light and the sun; truth and prophecy, medicine and healing; music, poetry, and the arts. He, the son of Zeus and Leto, with a twin sister, the chaste huntress Artemis. Maybe you are referring to the fact that Apollo is also seen as the God who can bring ill-health and deadly plague. I didn't know others still worshipped him. Or, if I have it wrong, maybe your image does not speak as plainly as you thought.

Best wishes,

Jerry

Brilliant color....fabulous! Could very well be a good interpretation of 'things to come'.....which in fact make me quite 'uneasy' at times....a world that has progressed so far, but has also 'regressed' in so many ways......the next 5 years should certainly be interesting...I hope not devastating ones.....very timely composition Dave..congrats....(hope you didn't have any nightmares while you had the 'fever')...Gail

Jerry:

Ah, but it speaks separately to each viewer... and reflects that which is on that persons mind and in their heart. In your case it comes as no surprise that you were so perspicacious.

Gail:

Did you notice the nose and lips above and behind the left ear? This was kind of an `accidental' image on the way to creating a somewhat different effect than this.

As for my "problem," it was a wide-spread skin fungal infection. Fairly common in the tropics. Three Filipino mini-tubes of Tolnaftate later I seem to be almost clear of fungi. :-))

Thank you both for your thoughtful comments!
