aarkp 2 Posted May 23, 2009 A lovely lady. She's seems a li'l tense to me -- the curled toes on her left leg and the expression or lack thereof on her sweet face. Nice idea to place her next to those scarred 'props' -- a successful foil to her flawless skin (perhaps a li'l grayish on the underside of her thighs and calves, but acceptably so). That nailed 'O" on the post is quite strategically placed -- but do consider putting your trademark and stuff on the mat rather than where it is... ;> Link to comment
paul_aylett1 0 Posted May 24, 2009 A lovely portrait. Great DoF, nice bokeh. Very pretty model and surroundings. The two main posts fall on or near 3rds as do the two main horizontal walkways. Her left arm could be a little more relaxed but otherwise excellent. Nice job. Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted May 24, 2009 Thanks Rajat, As you can see from the photo, there was not much sunlight. In fact, she was quite cold. I have other photos of her smiling, but this one seemed the best in terms of the overcast light, the surroundings, the chill, etc. First bathing suit photo shoot for me, so I allowed myself room for plenty of failure. Her toes are like that, I suppose, to make them look more graceful, and (I continue to suppose) to make her calves look better. I don't mind her expression at all. Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted May 24, 2009 by the way,Rajat. I don't place the logo on the image when I print it. That's strictly an Internet device. Paul, thanks for your comment, too. Lannie, thanks again. :-) Link to comment
aeg 0 Posted June 23, 2009 Beautiful woman captured beautifully. Lovely pose and position of her head it gives the impression of her staring into the water at possibly her own reflection. I like the pier structures mirroring her upper torso. Very pleasing and warm image. Regards Link to comment
