To me the picture radiates 'hope'. "after the darkness of several months, finally the sun starts to shine again" "leaded by the rocks, the knights finally find their way". OK, maybe I have a bit too much imagination, but I think it is a very good shot, which make you wonder what's behind it.

The foreground stones too await their magnificent moment in the magical glow. And yes, I like the photograph.

It looks so surreal, I expect the hand of God to come down and punch me in the head. :)

Seriously though, it's beautiful.

I expect the rocks to speak in the next frame, or some other wonderful thing. It's beautiful.

It works quite well! The stones are well-placed to lead your eye up to the amazing sunshine in the background. Awesome colours too!

Ok Atle, youve really done it this time. As if your portraits

of the unsurpassed beauty of Norway weren't spectacular enough,

you had ot post this one! Goodness it is truly original, I dont

know how you captured it. Was it by chance or patiently waiting?

Amazing photograph!

Have to say it was by chance! But going out to photograph when it's a lot of/changing in the weather increase the chance to get pictures like this.

It is a dream picture to shoot. Rocks creates a nice line to the center and break in the skies. Everything just in right place!

I think if a photograph is chosen as Photograph of the Week, the owner should be allowed to upload a larger version that goes beyond current photo.net policies. I find myself craving the details in this photo and one just can not get it with its current size.
