Examble of "kill"

Just held a course in Photography! A student took this photo, but wasn't content with it...so I asked him, if he wanted to try thr "kill your darlings" technique..? as he was a little afraid to try - I did it for him.. and then we put some colors on in PS.. took about five min..

The students name is Stig.. (full name to come - I'm not home right now..but of course his name shall be here, and I'm sorry for the slip of mind..)
