The meaning of the Greek word; ''skiagrafia'' is ''written with shadows''.

The angle of your shot, the long shadows, and the brick patterns make this a very interesting image. Well done! Regards, ~~~~~~~~~~Linda

Linda thanks for your visit and comment. You are obviously an afficionado of this type of photography. It also interesting to note the different patterns of walk that people have. To me, at least, reveals a lot of their charachter.

A remarkable composition plenty of rythm, an eclectic mixture of geometry and human shapes. The BW choice fit perfectly for this kind of subjects. Chapeau for you Dimitris.

Hello Carlos I must admit that this type of photography has a speciaial appeal to me. I looked out of my hotel window that was facing the street and when I saw the late afterrnoon light caressing that magnificent stone work highlighting the tram rails, I reached out for my camera. Thank you very much for your comment my friend.

Kaushik thank you very much for your comment, I appreciate it very much.

I bet your glad you reached for your camera. Besides the initial impact of the shadows, this is a great study in workmanship, notably the fine patterns laid out in bricks with b/w displaying this beautifully...Very well seen...Regards
