I've always felt rather dissapointed with the way Venitian buildings are covered during restoration. i think this is a prime example of what I don't like, but it's a dramatic and fascinating image.

i think this image is interesting, but it might be fun to try a horizontal crop of just hte bridge and the "sky"--- could make for an interesting new take on things. the water is just such an icky color it detracts from the image.
