Cher Pierre,

With any risk, I must tell you that your owl is my new desktop wallpaper. And always when I'm too silly or I'm ready to take a bad decision, The Owl just say "ntz, ntz, ntz.....I think is better to think twice..." PS. Is a little bit sad your owl. As you observe I talk only about The Owl. Gorgeous. 7/6 Best wishes, MichaelaM

Hi Pierre and thank you for the kind comments&ratings!

This is one of the most original selfportraits that I`ve seen in a long time. :-)

As a photo & finished creative subject, I enjoy the nice B&W work combined with the fine subject. Even the grain supports the overall image nicely.

With warm greetings, Alpo

Thanks everybody!

Alpo, my comment was maybe kind but my ratings were objective, ha!

There was a time when they called me Piere the owl, I had some smll photography business and firm's name was OWL! And I'm a night bird and it fits me all right!

If this really is a selfportrait you are a man who has a good vision in various ways ... And yes this comment can be interpreted in different ways but only possitive ... This is a great capture, like it very much.

This owl looks weary. Your creativity--the owl, your French name and explanation of it--all very interesting. I like it.

Self portraits are usually boring. Well, this one is very creative, especially knowing the story behind it. Beautiful work and great shot. Best wishes, Ludvik. P.S. Thank you for your kind comment and ratings.

What a handsome face you have got! Ha ha. Seriously, it's original and absurd at the same time. Best regards.

A very unusual and intelligent (especially considering the subject) crop, turning a good picture into an extraordinary piece of photography.
