All the lines, shapes, shadows combined with the flying youngster make this an outstanding photo in praise of childhood.

It also reminds me of, somehow, the Tintin comic strips which I loved...

Bulent and Elena, thank you. This is one of those taken from the porch but looking to the right and through some trees and with a longer lens. I never heard of Tintin comic strips. Must have been before my time. :-)

Now I see how you made the connection between the two characters.... I grew up in America and I think there was not this comic strip there. There was Joe Palooka, Little Abner, Dagwood and Blondie, (mr dithers his boss), moon mullins, Brenda Starr and "black orchid mystery man", Dick Tracy, Buck Rogers, and Ally Oop (sp?) who was a neaderthal cave manl who time travelled and others I've forgotten or that I do not remember the names. This all happened after christ. Nope no Titin then. And white socks? come on...
