pnital 36 Posted May 20, 2009 Photographed some years ago. Thanks for your impressions. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted May 20, 2009 This is truly beautifully done, Pnina. I would be interested in this technique, since you obviously began with a photo. The pose, composition, and everything else are simply wonderful. I offer you my sincere thanks for your kind thoughts. --Lannie Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted May 20, 2009 Explanations of technic will have to wait about a week ,as I'm soon going to the airport for a vacation. Thanks for liking it. It is an older photo, reading the thread you have started ( and breaking my teeth with the English....) reminded me of this one. As there are no women's point of view in that thread ,so here is the idea from. ;-)) Link to comment
Apurva Madia 0 Posted May 20, 2009 A very sensual and erotic looking picture. Since this is not a stark photograph, the sense of vagueness and mystery adds to its appeal! Link to comment
mazevedo 0 Posted May 20, 2009 This is an fantastic study on the human body. But, it is hardly a surprise that you've manage to do it taking in account your other series on movement. All the best, --MAA Link to comment

Donna Stavis 0 Posted May 30, 2009 I'm interested in reading about the technique as well. It's wonderful. I'm intrigued by what suggestions lines make, so the eye fills in form. I like the diagonal lines, which look like rain, acting like a barrier to clearly seeing her. Gentle, appealing Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted May 30, 2009 Lannie and Donna, thanks for your comments. You wanted to know about the technic. It was photographed some years ago with a model, but she did not agree to be published . I have had some nice works done with her, but I have respected her wish not to use it in public. As I have my painting education I tried some filters to leave the photo but give it a feeling of a drawing, and so keep her wish and still upload that femininity that I find, as you have found it. Lannie I have uploaded it after I started to read your forum thread. Http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=5147388 Thais is another one done using filter in order to keep her anonymity. Keeping creativity, and respect woman's body ( as I see it) on the same time Apurva, thanks, if you read the previous comment you will understand the mystery.... Mario, I'm glad you liked it, as you see even though it was photographed some years ago, the love for movement, dance, and exploring the human body( ( in action) with all respect to it, is always present. Kaushik, Sally, Sky, Ayse, Mike, Fabrizio, Alberto and Amal , thanks as well to all of your for your nice feedback. Amal, you hit the nail , of my feeling about exploiting women, for nude photography, treating them many times like objects.... Link to comment
nachosaezdeugarte 0 Posted May 30, 2009 Congrats Pnina. It´s a wonderful drawing. Well composed and executed. Kind regards. Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted June 3, 2009 The image has a visual appeal due to the strength of the pose and the favorable lines thus created. There is a classic femininity within those lines. I cannot relate to this as a photograph, anything photographic has been removed and replaced by some canned PS filters. I know why you did this based on your explanation and I also know that this once had a life as a photograph. However if you had not told us that this started out as a photograph I could have just as easily assumed any other source for the starting point. Although I will never know, I suspect that this once was a very good nude study, in its former life. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 4, 2009 Jose, yes it looks like a drawing, more than a photograph.....Thanks for your appreciation. Gord, As I have explained ,I could not use the original beautiful photo ( it was photographed ,will you belive it, in a lights factory ,prepering lights for stages and different other use)..... with lights play( that I did not like), and converted to a beautiful sepia, but in order to upload it I used a PS filter, because of the model's refusal. I though that the result has merit...;-)) Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 5 Posted November 22, 2009 I agree with some of the other reviews; this is a beautiful portrayal of her beauty and sensuality without being exploitive. I love it! Very well done! :) Link to comment
