Many thanks to you all!

I appreciate your visits and the rewarding comments.

The abruptness of the "session" precluded a proper exposure and I have ended up with a rather unerexposed photo.

Still; his enjoyment, which reminds of our past was there and I wanted to share it.

Thanks again...

charming pic Bulent !!! But I expect it may be 'richer' in B&W - in fact I'm sure - but then I remind myself to question my treasured prejudices. I know every street shot I see, specially with children, always tosses me back to the enchanting work of Cartier B. And because the contours of my seeing pictures was shaped by the black and white world of all those dead guys, I just cant see your image any other way.

Be well man, Carlos.

Thank you very much for your comment.

I wholly agree with your sentiments regarding the B&W photographs.

I humbly believe that colors can be distractors or they can serve as rather cheap attractors!

Treating the color as an integral part of a solid, satisfying composition is surely a daunting task.

That is why I try to base my judgments on my own photos by asking this: Do they serve a purpose here?

Most of the time, they don't and I remove the color(s).

Here, I thought the red was reflecting / participating in his joy.

Also, my attempts at converting this one to B&W did not produce a satisfactory result.

It is quite likely, however, that a better post processing can "find" a better B&W here in this one.
