"Lightner Ranch Duo"

Ahhh, the horses I asked for! A quintessential slice out of ranch life with a gorgeous landscape/sunrise thrown in. Thanks for sharing... Mike

 

Mike, your input carries alot of weight. I set out at 4:20 am to reach this location by sunrise, and all the while driving I thought about the coup de grace. Once I arrived, I soon realized that anything at this time of day was going to be about a 1 second exposure at best. This was my third shot. Then the horses decided to mull around and confound me. I finally was able to get about three that had good comp and no blur. Meanwhile the yellow poppies are a poppin! Thanks for your inspiration.

Lovely colors & detail. I think the composition could be improved a little bit with a tighter crop.
