whydangle 0 Posted May 19, 2009 I told this pair of horses that I would kick in a free 8X10 if they would pose for me at sunrise. They were eager to ham it up. The wildflowers and sky were a bonus. Not Here 93 Posted May 19, 2009 Ahhh, the horses I asked for! A quintessential slice out of ranch life with a gorgeous landscape/sunrise thrown in. Thanks for sharing... Mike Link to comment
whydangle 0 Posted May 19, 2009 Mike, your input carries alot of weight. I set out at 4:20 am to reach this location by sunrise, and all the while driving I thought about the coup de grace. Once I arrived, I soon realized that anything at this time of day was going to be about a 1 second exposure at best. This was my third shot. Then the horses decided to mull around and confound me. I finally was able to get about three that had good comp and no blur. Meanwhile the yellow poppies are a poppin! Thanks for your inspiration. Link to comment
tmjacobs 0 Posted May 22, 2009 Lovely colors & detail. I think the composition could be improved a little bit with a tighter crop. Link to comment
photo by patsy dunn 1 Posted July 24, 2009 Mark, This is a real beauty. There is nothing that I love more than old barns and horses, put the two together and it is pure magic. Amazing job. Regards, Patsy Link to comment
