Maoro, very good composition. Symmetry and colours are attractive in this image.

This is one of the most famous city's tall building (not exactly a skyscraper, being 106 m high) . It was built in 1958. The

specific style is the so called "new-liberty" but in general it is considerred an example of the Italian rationalism.

 

Would like to read comments and rates about this particular view. The tower itself and its environment can be seen here:

Buone le linee prospettiche,il taglio orizzantale chiude la prospettiva dando origine ad un senso di compressione, soffocamento, sovraffolamento, il colore colore completa l'opera, ciao Fabrizio

Grazie Fabrizio, condivido il tuo commento. Io non amo molto la Velasca e trovo i suoi rapporti dimensionali e volumetrici piuttosto, appunto, soffocanti.
