A unique perspective with wonderful color and for me just enough milkyness in the water. The light on the large rock is interesting. Very good work. Take care, Deanna

thank you, Diana!  this picture was taken in Cloudland Canyon, Ga., just southwest of Chattanooga, Tn.  It's one of my favorite places to take pics of steams and waterfalls.  There are several really nice w/falls within a few hundred yards of one another.  The only negative about the location is that there's an extremely steep and strenuous drop into the canyon...which is all the worse when you have to climb out!  As for the light on the big rock...although it's obvious I've played around with the shot in PS...the color of the rock wasn't much different than what you see.  There was a storm brewing when I shot this one...and it made for a very strange coloring as the light coming through all the dark grey and purplish clouds filtered through bright green spring leaves.  I eventually tired of shooting the standard waterfall shots and started searching for different, more interesting perspspectives. I suppose the picture looks a bit embalanced, as the upper left is a bit empty, but Ihad to include all of the tree branch that was lying across the two small waterfalls.  Anyway...glad you liked the picture!  Regards, John
