"Emergence"

This is a re-worked image from last spring. It was one of the most colorful sunrises I

had seen in a while, but I needed to coax the RAW file to reveal the true intensity.

Seriously, magnificent color and the little hint of haze on the mountains really adds to the overall depth. Excellent detail to even pick up individual trees on the right mountain and the scattered clouds work to accentuate the sunrise. Love it... Mike

Fantastic colours! The view itself is very strong too. I would try to crop a part of the top sky, say around 1.5-2 cms of the actual size that you uploaded, it seems to me the impact would be stronger then :)

this intense orange sunset evokes just the opposite, peace and serenity....the larger view really shows this. one can get lost in the color. great shot! admire your work and philosophy
