Dick... Well defined detail, especially the layered tail feathers, and the colors and DOF are just right. Quite a soft trigger finger you have there for hand held... Mike

Thank you very much, Mike, Linh and Keith! The 80-400 is pretty easy to handhold as it balances on the D300 well, and the VR helps...I also ordered the bird to hold still:-)

On version #3, I spent some time eliminating the pesky right angled branches. It was good practice but tedious.
