ricardovaste 0 Posted May 17, 2009 An incredibly miserable and boring Sunday. I decided to go on a long walk on my own... the sort where you contimplate selling half your gear if you get what I mean . The fresh air kind of did me good, I guess. Took one shot I thought was worth sharing... Found this strange little place about 8 or so months ago. Took a couple of shots with a fisheye lens then, of a similar theme. Seemed to me that someone had been living there with possible alcohol addiction problems (bottles everywhere), but I also thought it could have just been 'kids'. However, upon finding this 'arrangement' I feel it must be some sort of homeless person. It's placed about 40 feet off a side road, with no track to it, just amongst a woodland environment... you could easily not see it at all infact, the 'opening' to it is very small and it's mostly underground (the 'spot-light' at the top right in the photo is infact 'ground level'). Hope you enjoy it. Thanks for looking. A700, 17-50 @ f4.5, ISO1600 3 bracketted shots combined in Photomatix Converted to B&W in PS & tri-toned in PS Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted May 18, 2009 I like it although it does seem to be a little soft. Perhaps simple b & w would have been all that was needed. The walk was worth the effort. Link to comment
