michaela m 1 Posted May 17, 2009 Quite different of your usual masterpieces. And for me, sad. A bridge to liberty...for me, the bird is the liberty. And the man who refuse the posibility. Brilliant, Pierre. Simply, brilliant.. Best regards, MM Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted May 17, 2009 Flawless execution of a very original and innovative vision. Superb composition and post-processing. A real work of art from the Macedonian Artist. I hope all is well with you, my friend! A pair of the big 7s for this beauty, and into "My Favorites" it goes! Cheers! The Caliph Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 286 Posted May 17, 2009 Michaela your interpretation might be the right one and again the man doesn't have wings and is being stuck to the ground, so he must return back and the bird doesn't even know about her advantage! Yes, the man may jump to the liberty, but he has not used to it and he's afraid to do so! Hey, Caliph Sir, you're faster than the wind and more eloquent than an artist on the stage! Thanks to your Caliphship for the precious visit! PDE Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted May 17, 2009 Sometimes I think a man can feel 'beaten down'.....so many disappointments....that when the opportunity for change suddenly arises......it is often overwhelming....he maybe stuck..and then again, perhaps he only has KNOWN what he has KNOWN.....has found SAFETY in this 'world' he has 'molded' for the sake of JUSTIFYING his existance. He knows the 'boundaries' of 'his world'......if he follows the bridge...in his mind he does not know...that if he jumps......he will either 'land on SOLID GROUND.....or SOAR'....just like that bird-----who only KNOWS ....what it KNOWS.......FREEDOM.....(just my take Pierre.....but I think there are many who could identify with this image)...well done 'Dear Sir'.....Gail Link to comment

jtipton 0 Posted May 18, 2009 I always like the symbolism in your work. It always challenges the viewer to think. As always well done my friend and thanks as well. Take care and keep the faith. Jim Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted May 18, 2009 Pierre, you made an image which captivates my brain - again. This makes me think of all the missed opportunities and fears of the unknown which keep us (me) from growing. "The sky is the limit", or so it has been said; but not if one walks away. Many thanks for sharing your talent. I have to put this in my favorites, so I can remind myself of the message. Link to comment
maggies 0 Posted May 18, 2009 It looks to me as if this man is coming to earth from heaven with the expectation of dying. He is broken and without hope. The bird appears to represent evil...or at least a lack of caring...Excellent conceptual image...Marjorie Link to comment

luis.miro 0 Posted May 18, 2009 Masterpiece of conceptual work Pierre! Clever composition, with an existential message, outstanding performed. You make us to admire and to think about our existence,... our boundaries,... our losed opportunities... THAT'S ART! Kind regards, Luis Link to comment
