Guest Guest Posted June 1, 2009 Stefany, Mira is a very pretty girl. I am going to make just a couple comments on this portrait. Of course, it is a bit over exposed and your contrast is a little low. The backlighting looks good. The background is nicely out of focus. She has good eye contact with the camera (viewer). I do not know the reason you have shot her at an upward angle? It would be much better to position your camera at about eye level. She needs to move a little to her right so that her nose is about in the vertical center of the photograph. This will visually balance this photograph. I am not fond of separating a person's arm into two pieces. I would have shown the connection of her left forearm and upper arm. There does appear to be a tiny catch light in each eye (It looks a little odd being that small and in the exact center of the pupil. There is also a spot in the middle of the picture to her left, that should have been removed. It looks like you may have wanted to soften this image a bit to smooth out her complexion, after you fixed the exposure. Because of your exposure it is hard to tell much about skin tone or make-up. Nice shot, Mark Link to comment

crob2go 0 Posted June 4, 2009 Hi Stef, Mark gave you an hell of a critique. For some reason I was drawn to this photo and I'm not sure in a good or bad way. I'm sitting here trying to discern my feeling on the photo and I deceided to check your rating on this photo. I see all these 3's and I say you got to be kidding it may not be a 7 but surely not 3's. Unlike Mark I like the exposure, I feel you could have got this photo right on point ir you wanted too. That is what makes this photo different and unique and at the same time in my opinion difficult to rate. I'm rating this a 5/5, Could of been higher could have been a little lower but I just split the difference......Good photo...C-Rob Link to comment
