Must have taken a lot of patience an some luck. Very nicely sharp on the right places. Must have been taken with high quality equipment...seen the extreem sharp details. One can almost feel the feathers. Great shot !

It appears that the photo was indeed taken with a high quality camera and lens, but that's not what makes this a good photo. The photographer must know how to use the equipment and how to compose and proper exposure values and the exact timing of the shot, and, and, and.
