Julie - this is a great night shot from the bridge of the downtown area. I've seen your other shots of the Brooklyn Bridge and liked them as well. Living in Brooklyn and working downtown, the bridge has always been my favorite subject and I never get tired of photographng it. Keep up the great work. Jeff

Jeff you are so lucky to have the city at your doorstep. I would love to be able to walk that bridge everyday! I am so in love with the city. I can't wait to get back, hopefully in the fall! *crosses fingers*

While browsing this folder, I picked this image to comment on for its off-center composition. I tend to prefer non-symmetrical images.

 

How did you get so high above the traffic?

The Brooklyn actually has a pedestrian path above the traffic. When you get to the arches of the bridge there is a plat form that lets you walk about a bit over the traffic. :)
