Guest Guest Posted May 16, 2009 Richard, What a beautiful, very ARTISTIC shot. The Bokeh is beautiful with such soft colors, the knarled shape of the branch and of course the minimal size of the new leaf growth all add to the almost 'oriental feel' of this lovely photograph. I'll be saving it as one of my faves. God Bless ;o) Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted May 17, 2009 Dick... You caught the light just perfect for this one and the composition is superb; an excellent representation for Spring... Mike Link to comment

rarmstrong 0 Posted May 19, 2009 Thank you Joanne, Mike and Monte! I took a walk over to my neighbor's flower garden and noticed the light playing through the leaves of this apple tree. The tree had a lot of character, but it took about 20 shots to get the angles and the light just right. I think that the background bokeh could be better and I'm wondering if something like an 85mm or 105 mm prime would have been more pleasing. But, I don't have either of those...yet. Have a good day!
