Pink Ornamental Fence

An original and very well composed photograph. I can't decide if I like the grain or not, but it probably gives the shot a particular touch. What I like a lot is the focusing of the second and third nearest "faces" and the other ones being gradually more and more blurred. Regards!

Thanks for your thoughts. I think the grain might be due to the possibility that this is Kodachrome 200 which had some grain issues. Also, I think Kodachrome in general has some difficulties with being scanned. Not sure why. I'm using an older Minolta Scan Dual II if that matters. I remember that the selective focus was a planned feature & I liked the unusual colours here as well. Best, LM.

very nice composition keeping only 2 in focus great and color scheme. the colors help bring out the mood...even if a sombre one. compliments -koushik

Thanks for your visit & your comment. Yes, the wrought iron faces are spooky enough and are exaggerated by the unusual colour. The shallow DOF works well as it's not necessary to have them all in sharp focus to know they are all the same. Best, LM.
