Guest Guest Posted May 25, 2009 Jiri, This looks more like a product/fashion/model/portfolio, etc., shot than a portrait, but it certainly could work as a portrait. I know if I was her boyfriend/husband/father I would want this hanging in my home or office. Sharp focus. Good dramatic lighting on her face and chest. Great skin tone. Love the exaggerated pose. I would like to see a catch light in her eye (I think?). I would definitely like her hair brushed back from her eye. The bright blue light on her left wrist bothers me. It draws my attention. The blue rim lighting on her neck and bottom are outstanding. Her necklace is perfectly positioned on her chest. Great make-up, especially her lip gloss. I am not sure if I want her right ear lit? I almost think it would be better if her ear was in shadow. If you just had the blue rim light hitting its edge and the earring lit it would be more effective. You could crop a little off the right to place the tip of her nose more in the center. Of course, your web site is not part of the photograph. It belongs on the mat. Nice shot, Mark Link to comment
