It's quite a challenge to get these 4 very active pointers to sit still for a

moment. Their attention here was split into 4 different directions, long

enough for a shot or two.

Critique and comments welcome!

I can imagine how difficult this was to do but you've managed very well in my opinion. The dog sitting up makes the picture for me, I'm not so keen on the concrete they are posed on, maybe a patch of grass would have been better, just a small niggle. Regards, DM.

Having a pack of my own I can appreciate the challenge of getting a group of dogs to cooperate. This is excellent. Beautiful dogs. Best wishes.

David, this really is quite an accomplishment. I know how energenic Pointers are, but they are great dogs. This is so well done, a beautiful portrait. I love it. All the best.

I was just sitting here looking at this pic and thinking, "man, he sure has some calm, collective pointers", then I read your critique request comment. Now it all makes more sense.:) It really is a very nice shot with the positions of the dogs and them looking in all different directions. Normally I would find something like the downed tree a little distracting, but with the angle of it, I think it improves the shot.
