jenniferleigh 0 Posted May 13, 2009 I like what you did here. The skin tones are nice, and the softness in the features is elegant. I think maybe you added a layer to soften the edges? I notice it mostly on the hair and the shoulders, it is a bit distracting in those areas, but overall still nice. Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted May 13, 2009 A portrait slightly out of your beaten path, and your light managing is really good, mainly taking in account the difficults for right exposures with dark skins, on the other hand her young beauty is a gift for the senses. Link to comment
danny_deckers 1 Posted May 14, 2009 Beautifully lit beautiful model against perfect background which makes her the centre of more than this photograph.(As mentioned above, post-process is not 100%). Link to comment
kaushikphotography 0 Posted May 14, 2009 Nice soft effect and the croping. Lovely presentation too. Rgds. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted May 14, 2009 Jennifer, You are correct. I did add a layer and play with the image. I actually like the result although I can appreciate that not everyone will. I do post here in the hope to gauge what people like and don't like. Strangely, it is usually the images that I don't like that everyone else likes. I certainly appreciate your time commenting on this. Thanks a lot. Carlos, I wonder if you mean out of my (personal) beaten track or the beaten track in general. Certainly it is different for me. However, I do think you are right when pointing out the girl is the star here. Michael, She is. Thanks. Danny, Thanks for taking the time. I rarely spend a lot of time processing images. Perhaps I should take more time to get stunning results. That said, I am happy with the results here. Perhaps the jpg compression on this low resolution upload isn't doing me any favours. Kaushik, I am glad you like this. Thanks. Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted May 16, 2009 I mean out of your personal beaten path, with a mesmerizing result. As mesmerizing as she is. Link to comment
soniam 6 Posted May 19, 2009 Beautiful expression and tones. I would avoide the soft focus but otherwise it is perfect. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted May 20, 2009 Thanks for stopping by. I am sorry you don't like the soft focus but we can't please all the people all the time. It would, however, seem you are not alone. Link to comment
