andrzejp 6 Posted May 16, 2009 Steve, Here are details: Sony A700 with Sony SAL50F14 lens. It was natural light towards the end of the day ~ 18:56 so I have to use high ISO. See details in the enclosed image. Time on the image is US and picture was taken in Poland. To increase color detail I used two layers "multiply" with 25% opacity. Link to comment

steve ward 0 Posted December 19, 2009 Thanks for sharing all that detail. It gives me lots of points of reference to experiment with. The one I'll start with have to do with lens speed and DOF. I look forward to trying. Thanks. Link to comment
macmoss 0 Posted December 26, 2009 Technical details aside, this looks like it could have been done almost anywhere, under various conditions. No need for big production values when the portrayal is masterful. Your best photos really do capture special moments, in which the subjects (knowingly or not) betray their souls... Link to comment
andrzejp 6 Posted December 26, 2009 Mac, Thanks again for your very kind words. I truly appreciate your opinion. I think that you not only made my day but perhaps entire year. Link to comment
Yves Petronin 42 Posted February 10, 2010 Wonderful portrait. The compostion, the DOF, the overall tones. I am just a bit bothered by the bright point in one eye...Or perhaps the lack of it in the second eye. This alters the power of the eyes watching exactly in the same direction....Otherwise, a charming, romantic, expressionful image... Link to comment
