Outstanding work. Wonderful composition. There is just one small formation slightly away from the rest of the rocks which keeps catching my eye, a minor distraction. But an excellent quality image. Regards.

You wouldn't have thought you could see so much detail in such a small upload. The full size image must be breath taking. Very good indeed!

I never saw the original posting and crop but this version is simply wonderful. You have a great feel for the use of B&W.

I do not recall the original however the composition here is bold while remaining subtle. I love the emptiness of the upper left corner as much as the placement of the island and lighthouse in the upper right corner. The diagonal of the shoreline leading me directly to the lighthouse is a solid decision. The exposure has softened the rocks at the shoreline just the right amount, tying them in with the softness of the distant islands and contrasting beautifully with the sharp angularity of the foreground stone.

 

I've said this many times before but I'll repeat myself here; your B&W conversions are truly a cut above.
