martha_cabey 0 Posted May 9, 2009 Outstanding work. Wonderful composition. There is just one small formation slightly away from the rest of the rocks which keeps catching my eye, a minor distraction. But an excellent quality image. Regards. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted May 10, 2009 You wouldn't have thought you could see so much detail in such a small upload. The full size image must be breath taking. Very good indeed! Link to comment

gordonjb 10,860 Posted May 22, 2009 I do not recall the original however the composition here is bold while remaining subtle. I love the emptiness of the upper left corner as much as the placement of the island and lighthouse in the upper right corner. The diagonal of the shoreline leading me directly to the lighthouse is a solid decision. The exposure has softened the rocks at the shoreline just the right amount, tying them in with the softness of the distant islands and contrasting beautifully with the sharp angularity of the foreground stone. I've said this many times before but I'll repeat myself here; your B&W conversions are truly a cut above. Link to comment
