Do you think this would look better if it were flipped so she would be

facing the left?

No, I don't think it would be better flipped. And I don't know who wrote the book that says everyone needs to face left anyway. Very nice composition the way it is. Lovely light and colors, good composition. Nice and sharp. You have a beautiful portrait here.

Why would she need to face the left ? :-) By the way, I think your camera was a bit too low and/or her face not turned enough for this particular picture: compare the size of her breast with the size of her face... But anyway, one might wonder: wasn't the emphasis laid on this gorgeous white outline, for this one...? Interesting expression nevertheless...

Doug.... Where in the world do you keep coming up with all these eyes?! A very striking young lady with a beautiful face, eyes... and, as Marc noted, the angle and the bright white do bring primary attention away from the face, momentarily at least. To rectify, what about a fairly severe crop? That look is just to nice to lose and if you have the resolution (can't tell from this post), how about a facial portrait? Thanks for sharing and your willingness to discuss is always refreshing... Mike

Edit: Oh yes, your question... it wouldn't make a flipping bit of difference either way, this girl's magnetism is what is so appealing.

attached is the full frame. You can see I already flipped it, along with a few other fixer-ups.

mmm, that might not be the same shot, but it's close enough. I think the original could handle the tighter crop, and make a good quality print, yes. (I remember another shot, almost the same as this, which might have been better for that purpose.)Yes, I wanted to capture her figure here, as well. I like the tension between her face and her figure. Her dress was nice, but from some views actually made her look much heavier than she really was. The 1/2 length photographed against this same wall, and posted in the same folder shows that, I believe.
