Agree with Rajat. It's a lovely photo but it's unclear to me why this was submitted to the Documentary category for critique. Is this part of a multiple photo essay or is there some other visual narrative that is not apparent to us? For a documentary photo to work we need either a clear visual narrative or a caption describing what you are documenting. As such I can't rate it appropriately so I will refrain from doing so.

Its a truly remarkable image with fantastic light and beautiful color. And nicely composed. In 'Nature' I'd probably rate it near maximum -- and for my viewing pleasure I'd request a larger image of it to be uploaded. But how is this a documentary photograph? There could have been some worthwhile comments on the collection of sap...
