A lot inspired by the music of old OPETH

and the books of JRR Tolkien

I've used a polarizer, and a 3 stop gradient neutral density filter ( singh ray , gallen rowell )

bracketing the scene with +1 ; -1 EV and done some blending after to keep all the light range .

color balance was set towards warm & desaturated tone

RAW treatment and vignetting done after with some gradient filter

thanks and sorry for my english!

yes, i feel indeed some LOTR or Silmarillion atmosphere in there. great composition and beautiful light and colors. my only complaint is the upper part of the image: at the sky and mountain top the dark to light transition is too harsh. but still is an outstanding photo, congrats!

I feel a hope in this picture as if at any moment a giant eagle will fly into view.

I see a kind brook in which to lose small golden objects.

I see high mountains which might shield the view upon a fiery mountain.

(In Mordor where the shadows lie...)

Very fine shot that Peter Jackson could have used in his movies.

Bonjour Alexandre

Une très belle atmosphère avec une excellente composition, de très jolies couleurs automnales et un cadrage soigné, bravo à toi!

Excellent. Do I see some Hobbits behind the bushes ! Is it Mordor behind those craggy peaks. Keep it going, you're doing great. Cheers.

Such a beautiful image. If anything, I'd suggest a little dodging around the mountaintops to hide the grad transition. Otherwise, this is outstanding.
