wingell 0 Posted May 4, 2009 Across the U.S., local governments are tearing down old, derelict houses but not before groups of volunteers remove valuable components--doors, windows, trim, mantels--for recycling to homeowners restoring urban properties to their previous splendor. In the Binghamton area, that group is called PAST--the Preservation Association of the Southern Tier. Link to comment
arjen van de merwe 0 Posted May 4, 2009 Yes!! Good movement, good perspective, good story. Bit of backlighting gives the scene more interest. A small thing may be the cropped foot, but in such a dynamic image, who cares? Link to comment
wingell 0 Posted May 4, 2009 Thank you, Arjen--I really appreciate your comment on this image. When I first saw the shot, I was a bit bothered by the clippped foot myself but, as you noticed, this was a fast-unfolding scene and I was truly fortunate to grab the capture at all. The image is a testament to Canon's glass (in this case, the 16-35 2.8L) and the 5D's ability to perform amazingly well at 1600 ISO. Thanks for stopping by. All the best...Bill Link to comment
