pnital 36 Posted May 3, 2009 Someone saw this photo and said : it looks like a sea and land.. I adopted the idea as a title... Thanks for viewing Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted May 4, 2009 Times like this I wish I had my good monitor. I'm reacting to the light airy billows of fresh blue and the soft tan like an earthbound variation of floating in comfort and delight. Possible alternative title: "Visualization" as in meditation . Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted May 4, 2009 Very good interpretation of the Sea & Sand. The blue gauze enveloping her is like water 'embracning' her, & she seem to relax in it. I don't sense any feel of struggling. Link to comment
blue-olympus 0 Posted May 4, 2009 Great eye-catcher.. a woman swathed in blue veils with her out streched hand giving us a change of colour....mysterious and well produced scene......Regards Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted May 4, 2009 Pnina, I love your interpretation of the model as sea and sand. Wonderfully presented. Link to comment

jeffl7 0 Posted May 5, 2009 Even before I read the title, I thought of the tide rushing in and over her. Another lovely addition to your portfolio. Individually, these photos are each strong, but together, I'm sure they make an overwhelming statement of humans being overcome by their external worlds and internal issues. They all seem knocked off their feet by floods. Link to comment
khataw 0 Posted May 5, 2009 Pnina, A very interesting image. Simple yet the title brings you in to use your imagination. I think you have titled it quite appropriately. The veil or linen does correspond to the sea/waves. Best Regards Link to comment

gordonjb 10,860 Posted May 5, 2009 Pnina; The pastel tones and the soft focus leave this feeling like it has been sketched. The pose is very pleasing in terms of composition, fitting in well with the diagonal division between sea and sand. Her body looks very relaxed as if she were sleeping. One of my favourite aspects of these ' veil ' images is the transitions the image undergoes between covered and uncovered. In this one the effect is quit strong with her body disappearing into the veil in the upper left and being exposed completely toward the bottom right. I am sure I have seen and commented on this image before , is this a re-upload ? Link to comment
