I like the way the colours of the bird (with the exception of the throat), and the branch and background all blend or compliment one another. This really focuses viewer attention on the colourful throat. A very nice Hummingbird portrait!

Yes, Shawn! Are there any "rules" about how often you can use a photo in different forums or categories? Sometimes I feel like I'm using one too often but it's so tempting.. Also, this is an older one that I had skipped over the first time and brought it out for viewing. It's "new to me." :)

There are no rules, and if someone says that there are then it is our duty to break them at every opportunity.

 

I have at least 10 images that I have used repeatedly on the No Words Forum, with some of them being shown at least 5 times each. There is seldom too much of a good thing.
