new_zealand_landscapes 0 Posted April 28, 2009 I was wondering if the foam in the picture is caused by pollution? Link to comment
dariusz calkowski 0 Posted April 29, 2009 Possible, but I think it is natural. Nice picture, but way to much hdr-photomatix for my liking. It looks unnatural, more like a computer created graphic, then picture taken with a camera. Link to comment
new_zealand_landscapes 0 Posted May 2, 2009 Hi Dariusz Thanks for the question, The image is not HDR but an extreme process of the raw file, I didn't used to like to change images too much, now I cant see why not, photographers have been doing for the last 180 years. All I have been doing is set the fill light, brightness and contrast to full or as high as they can go. Fill light if applied too much causes the dark areas to go too light. I then turn down the exposure and adjust the curves. I guess a camera cant see like my eye, so I am trying to get a close blend between my eye and my imagination. Try it out.
